As any legal mind can attest, people searches are a critical cornerstone of a successful case—whether it’s locating persons of interest, witnesses, defendants, even potential jurors. They can also be notoriously multi-layered, challenging and frustrating—and they’re our specialty.
We recently discussed Tracers’ advanced search capabilities with Lex Tech Review’s Chelsey Lambert, and we highly recommend her informative (and yes, glowing) review. You’ll get a great overview of what we do, as well as valuable insight into how easy access to hard-to-find public records can make a real difference in your workload—and results. A couple of highlights:
Basic people search
Tracers’ databases are continuously updated to provide the most relevant contact information and address history for a party. Searches yield both exact name matches and aliases. If needed, Tracers will also display all related family members and spouses, with indicators of the relationship and other information. Records can even be expanded to access phone, address, and other information to track down “couch surfers.”
Tracers comprehensive report
While bail bondsmen and private investigators can track down locations of witnesses or criminals, there are scenarios in which public records and/or social media information can be applied. The Comprehensive Report is uniquely helpful because it searches a deep set of records nationwide.
Social media report
Lives are increasingly lived on social media, and Tracers’ social media search capability is expansive. In one seamless report, we’ll find all current active and inactive social media profiles—useful both for finding a person of interest and also to document activity for use in ligation.
Finally, our world-class customer service
Because the search process can be daunting for new users, Tracers eases the learning curve with one-on-one demos and ongoing white-glove support. We’ll even monitor search success: If we find that a client’s search yielded zero results, we’ll proactively reach out to offer assistance.
